There are different types of transport you can take from Sofia Airport to Sofia university:

Taxi companies

For your comfort and safety, we recommend the services of the taxi operator OK Supertrans AD as contractual partner of SOF Connect, the concessioner of Sofia Airport. O.K. SUPERTRANS is the only taxi company authorized to operate at Sofia Airport and Sofia Central Bus Station. You can request the service at the offices of OK Supertrans in the Arrivals of Terminal 1 and Terminal 2.

IMPORTANT!

We recommend that you do not use taxi services offered outside the office of the taxi operator or in front of the terminal to avoid the risk of abuse.

Metro from/to Sofia Airport

Sofia Airport metro station is next to the building of Terminal 2 of the airport. For those arriving at Terminal 1, Sofia Airport provides free-of-charge shuttle busses between Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 (ca. each 20 min). The stop locations of the shuttle bus in front of both terminals are designated by signage and pavement markings. Please ckeck their schedule here.

The metro trains operate from 5:26 am to 11:49 pm (business day) and from 5:27 am to 11:33 pm (weekends and public holidays). Detailed schedule.

Single ride ticket price is 1.60 levs (0.82 EUR). The ticket is valid for the entire metro network so you can use the same ticket for transfer to any other lines. You can use contactless credit or debit card to enter the metro. Or you can buy tickets and cardsfrom the cashier desks in the metro station or from ticket machines. Information about different ticket options

Bus lines 84 & 184

You can take bus lines E84 and E184 from the bus stops in front of Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 buildings. In order to reach Sofia University, you have to get off at the bus stop “Orlov most” square. Single ride ticket price is 1.60 levs (0.82 EUR). You can buy a ticket after you get in the bus with your banking card from the bus driver.
